Five States To Satisfy Your Alcoholic Taste Buds

Sunday, October 16, 2016

Traveling is something many of us like to do. Especially if we have a big long bucket list of all the destinations you want to visit. Many of them will be on there to see iconic sites or witness truly wonderful things. So I thought I would recommend a few destinations perfect for your bucket list with a little twist. Making famous alcoholic drinks the focus, here are some of the states you should be visiting soon.

Missouri

The state of Missouri may not sit on many people’s bucket lists. But this is where you are making a huge mistake as this state has tonnes to offer fellow americans want to explore new places. Famous for the art and history museums there is something else that the wine loves amongst us may want to to see. You could consider sampling wine along the Hermann Wine Trail. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a glass of vino.

Tennessee

Tennessee is a special state. With Nashville being the capital, famous for it’s country music. With Memphis being the home of the famous Elvis Presley. This state has it all. But one other famous thing to come out of this state is Jack Daniels whisky. A firm favorite amongst many americans today. While you may want to see if you can work out the secret to that whiskey, i’m sure there will be plenty of other things to do. Especially if you have a love for all things music.

New York

Of course, New York had to have a mention being my home place. But while there are many different bar and preferred alcoholic beverages I wanted to give a special mention the Brooklyn Beer. The Brooklyn brewery sits proud in Brooklyn and offers you a chance to see how the Brooklyn beer is made. With festivals and other fu events it’s worth checking online to see when the next party is going on. Of course, no visit to New York state would be complete without a trip to NYC to take in the famous sites.

U.S Virgin Islands

The United States Virgin Islands (USVI) are made up of the four larger islands in the Caribbean. St. Thomas, St. Croix, St. John and Water island. Back in 2011 the popular rum, Captain Morgan, products was moved there. It is one of the most popular rums you can buy and is sits favourably with many Americans. While you're there you may want to check out the famous white sandy beaches. St. Thomas is the most prominent.

Kentucky

Time for another Whiskey brand now and the Kentucky based Jim bean is fast becoming a popular tipple over the popular Jack Daniels. While you may want to see how this whiskey is produced you will be pleased to know that kentucky has a lot to offer if you head there for a weekend jaunt. Why not head to the large city of Louisville, home of the Kentucky Derby. You won’t be disappointed.

I hope this has inspired you to visit one of these states.
