Allow plenty of space in the room

One thing you will notice when you next stay in a hotel is they often have plenty of space. They don’t overfill the room full of unnecessary items. And everything is always very well-placed to ensure you have plenty of space to move around. Therefore, when you are creating a bedroom which resembles a luxury hotel room, you need to make sure you don’t overfill the room. Keep items to a minimum, so there is plenty of room to move around. Make a plan of where everything will be placed, so you know exactly what it will look like. If you do need to find homes for items, you can place them on shelves which is an ideal way to display items in your bedroom.

Purchase some lavish pillows

Another of our favorite things about hotel rooms is the lavish pillows they have on the bed. After all, they make the room look fantastic when you first walk in. And secondary, they are ideal for keeping your head comfortable at night. Therefore, make sure you get some lavish pillows for your bedroom. There are so many good ones available that you can buy. Memory foam is often a popular choice as it supports your head and also responds to your body’s natural temperature. Goose feather and duck down pillows are also popular for extra comfort. Make sure you go for high thread counts to stay cozy. Also, remember to double up when it comes to pillows for your bedroom as it will look fantastic.

Add plenty of throws and cushions

Of course, it’s important to have a great duvet and pillows to help your bed become an attractive feature in your bedroom. But if you have ever been in a hotel bedroom before, you would see they have throws and cushions as well. They make the room look cozy, and they will improve your sleep. When you are choosing a throw and cushions for the bedroom, you need to make sure you consider the colors of the wall. You don’t want something which will clash badly with the walls. Also, you want something which looks great against the current duvet cover and sheets. Remember to check the quality before making a purchase; you don’t want items which will make the room look less classy!

Create a luxury seating area

One of our favorite things about hotel rooms is the lovely seating area which is a few steps from the bed. You get to cozy up and read a lovely book on the chair. Therefore, why not recreate this in your bedroom? As this feature explains, it’s a comfortable and luxurious element to add to the bedroom. You should head to the store and look for a lovely sofa or single chair to add to the seating area. If there is space, you could even add a small coffee table next to it so you could enjoy your morning drink in peace and quiet. A chaise longue would also be a fabulous addition to your bedroom!

Pamper your en suite

If you don’t currently have an en suite, it would be a great idea to install one adjacent to your bedroom. After all, the en suite is one of the most stunning features in a hotel room. It’s ideal so that you have quick access to a toilet and shower in the morning. You could even decorate the en suite so that it matches with the rest of the bedroom. Add some fantastic cotton towels and a shower curtain to make it more luxurious.

Go for a king or super king sized bed

It’s always lovely to enter your hotel room and find a massive bed waiting for you. But if you have space in the room, you should consider purchasing a king, or even a super king sized bed for the room. You will feel like royalty when you have a large sized bed waiting for you at night. It’s easy to find great kingsized mattresses for the bed too.
