Story Island is a combined music and video documentary about 14 ordinary people reflecting on their careers and families in various parts of Taiwan. The album comes with three short films about these individuals, who include farmers, hostel-keepers and aboriginals. Themes such as simplicity, harmony and warmth are as abundant in the film profiles as in the music. This intimate picture is the work of composer CinCin Lee, winner of the 2005 Golden Horse award for best film music. To create Story Island, she spent three years travelling around Taiwan picking up folk tunes and the feeling of life at grass-roots level.

Startup Weekend NYC brings entrepreneurs and supporters together and teaches them how to share ideas, form teams, build products and launch companies, all during a 54-hour crash-course weekend. Sounds crazy right? Well, but it's possible and since some of the ideas have come true and turns out to be some real companies.
The Startup Weekend in New York City is on its final day in WeWork Lounge, Soho, and it’s been quite a journey! Definitely exciting and I can't wait for the final results!

Of course yes! I understand is natural for someone to get excited about a new love interest, and therefore devote most of their free time to them in the beginning. However, they shouldn't left their friends behind. Like everything else in life, balance is the key!
I mean, seriously! Ignoring your friends, ignoring your friend's birthday (even there's notification on Facebook that would remind you few days in advance), get angry with them for trying to get in touch, really?
True enough, sometimes it is hard when we first fall in love with someone to even think about spending time away from our lover and with our friends instead, but we must never forget the importance of maintaining all of our relationships. A true friend should be treated as a true friend. And hey, if one day your significant other cheated on you, who else is left to be with you? And seriously nowadays cheating is such a common thing in the new era! (No offense, I'm not one of them :)
Never ignore your friends because you have a relationship.
In short, your friend shouldn't completely abandon their previous life in order to spend time in their new relationship.
Maybe is a problem when you completely ignore your friend when you're in a relationship, but comes crawling back each time when you're single again, that's a problem. Or are you that person who use friends as "something to do" until they meet a romantic partner are missing out on a very important part of their emotional life?
Seriously. It is worth it that you'd throw away a long time friendship just because you have met someone new in your life? Or you gonna replace your significant other's BFF as your new best friend by ignoring your old friends behind? Think about it.

2. ... make snow angels in the normally untouchably dangerous turf in Tompkins Square Park?
3. ... stick your tongue to icicles hanging off the Manhattan Bridge overpass?
4. ... make yellow snow on the pristine, untouched stretch of grass in the middle of Park Avenue?
5. ... watch other kids playing through the glass door, hiding from the weather with some hot chocolate and the homeless guy in your entryway?

Martin Luther King Jr.
"We will defend our people and uphold our values through strength of arms and rule of law. We will show the courage to try and resolve our differences with other nations peacefully – not because we are naĂŻve about the dangers we face, but because engagement can more durably lift suspicion and fear."
Barack Obama
"Nonviolence means avoiding not only external physical violence but also internal violence of spirit. You not only refuse to shoot a man, but you refuse to hate him."
Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Gay brothers and sisters treated equal under law.”
Barack Obama
“An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.”
Martin Luther King Jr.
"The words I spoke today are not so different from the oath that is taken each time a soldier signs up for duty."
"With passion & dedication, let us answer the call of history and carry into an uncertain future that precious light of freedom." It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

This amazing coffee place have an ambience that fosters relaxation among those who are inside, they have the magic of make me think of nothing else but the cozy and warm feel of the place and the rich taste of my favorite cappuccino. Although it could be crowded most of the time but it is such a cute place to have my afternoon tea and coffee. They also served as the perfect place to chat and all I have to do is go to 71 Irving Place and have a cup of coffee to escape from the reality.
